Ethan Stubington scored 17 points, Jack Bromberg added 12 and Dorel Cohen had 10 as the host #16 Jaguars (3-2) won in the opening day of pool play. Jonah Dobkin, who led DeToledo in scoring at the Cooper Invitational, is out of the lineup until late December due to California transfer rules.

The #9 Heat (2-0 League; 6-3 Overall) overcame a last minute collapse in regulation to turn back the #1 Cougars (2-1; 6-2). Ricky Sutton returned from an injury to lead Heschel with 18 points and Netanel Shapira added 11. For Frisch, Max Zakheim scored 31 points, including the tying 3-pointer with :15 left to send it to overtime. Shmulie Coates added 20.

Shaare Torah 80 Waterbury Yeshiva 69

Freddie Swaid had 26 points and Jackie Haber 21 to lead four players in double figures for the #8 Stars (2-1; 5-2). Shlomie Anbeh added 11 points and Eddie Swaid scored 10. The Wolfpack dropped to 1-3.

Tzvi Zigelstein scored 18 points and Tani Engle added 11 as the Lions (2-2) took control with a 12-0 run from late in the second quarter to midway through the third. The Falcons are now 0-5, 0-4 in the league.
