The Falcons (4-1) won their first Magen David Preseason Tournament, taking an early 12-point lead and never letting the Lions (4-1) get within two points. It was the first time neither Magen David nor DRS won the title game since HAFTR in 2014.

Isaac Stepner led the Cougars with 26 points in the the season opener for both teams. Judah Suss added 13 points for Frisch and Jon Milgrom had 11.
