Magen David 54 Jewish Culture 52

Josh Chabbott’s layup off an inbounds pass with :00.4 left gave the #14 Warriors (13-7) their third straight win. Chabbott finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds and Jack Dweck added 13 points. Jonathan Hazan led the #10 Lions (17-8) with 25 points.

Berman H.A. 65 HAFTR 58

The #5 Cougars (16-2) used a 9-0 run midway through the 4th to win their ninth straight game. Alex August led the way with 29 points and Eli Teitelbaum had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

HANC 92 Atlanta Jewish Academy 70

The Hurricanes (9-14) seemingly scored at will after a close 1st quarter and overcame a JHA-season high 52 points from JHA-leading scorer Zac Agichtein. The Jaguars are now 6-5.

H.A. Miami 57 JEC 35

The Warriors (5-13) led by 2 late in the 2nd quarter before going on a 31-5 run to take control. Simcha Rosenberg led them with 17 points and Caleb Gdanski added 15. The Thunder drop to 5-13.

DRS 54 Hillel 53

The #5 Wildcats (20-3) rallied from 17 points down in the 3rd quarter to win their fifth straight game on Joe Aaron’s free throw with :01.2 left. Tzvi Tsaidi led DRS with 25 points. Eli Braha scored 29 points and Bruce Epstein added 12 for the #11 Heat (12-7), who had their 4-game win streak snapped.

CALIFORNIA

YULA 41 Shalhevet 33

The Battle of JHA’s top two teams goes to the #2 Panthers (18-9) as they avenge loss in Glouberman title game. Alex Gabbay led YULA with 12 points and Sam Jacobson and Yakov Liberman had 9 each for the Firehawks (14-8).

St. Genevieve 77 Valley Torah  76 OT

Ben Mahgerefteh scored 17 points and Meir Dan added 15 but the #20 Wolfpack (10-8) dropped their second 1-point loss in as many nights.

Del Lago 68 San Diego Jewish Academy 32

Jack Silberstein led the Lions (1-8) with 12 points.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

DRS def Rambam

A scheduling snafu forced the #5 Wildcats (12-1; 19-3) to play the Ravens (5-7; 5-9) before heading to HAFTR for their Satran Tournament game.

Waterbury Yeshiva 76 YDE 63

Aviad Dahari led the Wolfpack (4-9) with 36 points, Akiva Guggenheim added 13 and Moshe Newhouse had 12 points, 15 rebounds. The Thunder are now 7-7, 6-5 in the league.

North Shore H.A. 49 Mekor Chaim 45

The #22 Lions (12-11) survived a pesky Cyclone team.

Meir Dan scored 19 points, Nehoray Edri added 18 and Ben Mahgerefteh had 11 but the #20 Wolfpack (10-7) were done in at the foul line, where they took just 7 free throws to 35 for the Cardinals.
