Here’s the seeding and opening round matchups for Yeshiva University’s 31st annual Red Sarachek Tournament, scheduled for March 28-April 1, 2024. This year’s tourney features 20 teams, with the top 16 getting a shot at Tier 1. The 13th seed will be determined March 27 in a play-in game between DRS and Frisch. Fourteen of the 20 teams are ranked in Jewish Hoops America’s National Top 25.
Seeds 17-20 will not play on the opening day, Thursday. They will compete in Tier 2 qualifiers on Friday against the four lowest seeded losers from Thursday’s games. The four highest seeded losers Thursday will get byes and automatic spots as the top 4 seeds in Tier 2.
