MIDATLANTIC

Sandy Spring Friends 74 Berman H.A. 47

Down 19-17 midway through the 2nd quarter the Wildebeests went on a 31-9 run to take control and win their third straight Potomac Valley Athletic Conference championship, all with undefeated seasons. Itai Rozmaryn led the #17 Cougars (20-9) with 16 points and Naftali Fischler added 12. Sandy Spring held Berman’s leading scorers, sophomores Alex August and Gabey Margulies, to a combined 6 points.

Cristo Rey 65 Beth Tfiloh 59

Michael Cohen had 22 points and Jake Schloss scored 21 but the #15 Warriors (23-7) fell for the second time in three games after a 16-game win streak.

CANADA

Crawford 75 Or Chaim Toronto 64

Cody Fox scored 36 points and Nathan Greenbaum added 14 but the Knights (6-7) were eliminated in the opening round of the TDCAA playoffs.

SOUTHEAST

Westwood Christian 66 H.A. Miami 51

The #13 Warriors (17-10) fall in the 2A regional quarterfinals.

MIDWEST

Farber Hebrew Day 77 Frankel Jewish Academy 27

Ari Schon scored 19 points and Gideon Lopatin and Matt Shumayev added 11 each to lead the Fire (9-9) in its final game of the season. The Jaguars fall to 2-15.

WEST

First Baptist 58 Beren Houston 34

The Stars (13-8) fell in the opening round of the TAPPS 1A playoffs. Rafi Miller led Beren with 15 points.

Christ Prep 70 Hyman Brand H.A. 33

Riley Ellis led the Rams (3-13) with 19 points.

Flatirons Academy 69 Denver Academy of Torah 36

The Wolves are 9-8.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

North Shore H.A. 75 DRS 55

After two straight close wins against the #17 Wildcats (13-11) to end the regular season, the #14 Lions (15-16) wasted no time making a statement as they jumped out to a 30-2 lead and were never threatened. Jonah Carmilli scored 29 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead four players in double figures for North Shore. Jordan Zarka had 17 points, 12 rebounds, Ben Abizadeh added 10 points, 11 rebounds and Shai Altman scored 10 points. Joe Aaron led DRS with 22 points and Aiden Buchbinder scored 16.
