The Warriors rallied from double digits down in the 3rd quarter and held the Eagles to just four points in the 4th. Zach Schuster led H.A. with 19 points, Simcha Rosenberg scored 13 and Caleb Gdanski had 11.

Jewish Culture 72 Hillel Miami 43

Shilo Kahan led the #12 Lions (10-6) with 24 points and Jimmy Lasry added 10.

MIDWEST

East Youngstown 56 Fuchs Mizrachi 47

Moshe Jacobs scored 18 points, Elitzur Sharvit added 12 and Gabe Katz had 10 but the Mayhem dropped their season opener.

The #15 Tigers are now 2-1.

Northwest Yeshiva HS 67 Grace Academy 51

The Lions trailed by 5 after two quarters but dominated the second half to win their season opener. Joe Benoliel scored 30 points, including 21 in the 3rd quarter, and Evan Kaufthal added 15.

CALIFORNIA

YULA 71 San Diego Jewish Academy 59

The #2 Panthers improved to 12-4. Jack Silberstein led the Lions (1-2) with 16 points, Boaz Koffler added 11 and Jaron Sharf had 10.

Brentwood 70 Milken 29

The #9 Wildcats (4-1) suffered their first loss of the season.

Shalhevet 69 St. Genevieve 42

Yakov Liberman scored 15 points and Ben Dweck added 13 as the #1 Firehawks (10-2) won in pool play at the Milken Classic.

Valley Torah 76 Canoga Park 54

Ben Mahgerefteh and Meir Dan each scored 17 points to lead the #25 Wolfpack (6-3), Nehoray Edri added 16 and Adam Bouzaglou had 11.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Hillel 75 Waterbury Yeshiva 57

The #4 Heat (4-1; 8-4) shook off a sluggish start to win going away. Leyad Teren led Hillel with 26 points, Eli Braha added 18 and Bruce Epstein had 10. Aviad Dahari had 22 points for the Wolfpack (2-5), Akiva Guggenheim scored 12 and Avi Beitler added 10.

MTA 54 Rambam 48

Josh Treuhaft’s 19 points led four players in double figures for the #24 Lions (4-1; 11-4). Gavi Engel added 13, Jake Abenaim had 12 and Efraim Avramov scored 10, including a key 3-pointer after the Ravens had drawn to within two. Yosef Bruckenstein led Rambam (3-3; 3-5) with 16 points and Joni Mosheyev added 12.

YDE 53 JEC 49

Albert Assis led the #22 Brooklyn Thunder (5-1; 6-3) with 15 points. The NJ Thunder (2-4; 4-8) were led by Michael Schnur’s 23 points.
