Alex August led the #7 Cougars (5-1) with 19 points and Gabey Margulies added 17.

Eli Avizov scored 15 points and Alex Brand added 13 to lead the Hurricanes (1-4). It was the season opener for the Kings, who were led by Zeke Levitt’s 25 points.

Bulldogs now 1-2.

SOUTHEAST

H.A. Miami 63 Hillel Miami 39

Caleb Gdanski scored 17 points, Simcha Rosenberg added 12 and Zach Schuster had 10 to lead the Warriors (1-5).

Jonathan Hazan scored 12 points and Zee Itzkowitz added 10 as the #20 Lions (5-3) won their fourth straight game.

Jack Kampf led the Macs (4-4) with 24 points.

The Bulldogs (2-5) overcame a 2-point 1st quarter and got the win behind 13 points from Max Fisherov.

Aiden Akoka (17 points), Max Bromberg (16) and Dylan Kravitz (11) combined to hit 12 3-pointers as the host #21 Jaguars won their opening game in the deToledo Winter Invitational.

Milken 67 Sherman Oaks CES 57

Ashton Javaheri scored 18 points, Daniel Werner added 15 and Matthew Darwish had 11 as the #10 Wildcats opened their season with a win in pool play at the deToledo Winter Invitational. Danny Kohanim grabbed 14 rebounds for Milken.

Ari Varon’s 34 points led four players in double figures as the Lions won their season opener. Jake Coblentz-Brown had 18 points, 14 rebounds, Matt Olen scored 14 points and Eli Feinberg had 11. Graydon Carpet had 12 assists to go along with 9 points.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

TABC 79 Flatbush 55

Eyal Kinderlehrer led the #6 Storm (2-0; 7-2) with 17 points, Akiva Borgen added 14 and Dovid Saks had 11. The Falcons are now 3-1 in the league, 5-5 overall.
