Alex August led the Cougars (4-3) with 20 points, Gabey Margulies added 16 and Shmuli Levieddin had 14.

Itai Topolosky had 20 points to lead players in double figures for the Lions (1-2) as they won their conference opener. Ari Blumenthal added 12 points, Sam Sharp had 11 and Cyrus Blumenthal scored 10.

CANADA

Cody Fox scored 18 points and Nathan Greenbaum added 10 but a 26-4 first quarter was hard to overcome for the Knights in their season opener.

Alon Perez scored 14 points and Dovie Shapiro added 10 as the Warriors (5-5) win their fourth straight game. Ben Edidin had 12 points for the Storm (5-3).

The Rams (7-2) led by 6 at halftime and put the game away by scoring the first 17 points of the 3rd quarter en route to their sixth straight win. Eidan Weiss led Posnack with 23 points.

Eric Houtkin led the Eagles (1-4) with 14 points, Josh Matheson scored 12 and Tal Kessous added 11.

The Firehawks (11-4) claim the Milken Classic championship, avenging a loss earlier in the tournament. MVP Aiden Bitran scored 28 and Zane Mendelson and Jacob Kilberg were named to the All Tournament team.

Gabriel R’bibo scored 30 points and Levi Banon added 20 as the Wolfpack (10-2) beat SCC for the second time this week.

The Sting improve to 4-2 in the league, 5-5 overall. Eli Braha led the Heat (2-9; 0-4) with 17 points and Marty Cohen added 15.

Flatbush 55 YDE 19

Teams were basically even for the final 2 1/2 quarters - but the Falcons opened the game leading 37-3. The win was the 10th straight for Flatbush (6-0; 14-1), who were led by Joe Shamah’s 12 points and 10 each from Solly Gadeh and Ronnie Chaaya. The Thunder fall to 3-6, 2-4 in the league.

Ramaz 49 Kushner 30

The Rams (6-1; 12-4) won their fourth straight game. Cobras fall to 1-4.

HANC 65 Rambam 35

The Hurricanes (1-5; 1-7) get in the win column. Ravens drop to 1-6.
