YESHIVA LEAGUE

Ramaz 62 Frisch 45

The first half in The Basement was a slugfest as the host Rams traded leads throughout with the Cougars and nobody led by more than four points. But in the second half, Ramaz did all the slugging, outscoring Frisch 16-3 in the 3rd quarter en route to the semifinal win.

Julius Rubinstein led Ramaz (17-4) with 24 points and Cy Aminzadeh added 18. Alex Zakheim and Ben Haber each scored 11 points for the Cougars (14-7).

The Rams will play the winner of the SAR-TABC semifinal. They are making their first trip to the championship game in nine years and are seeking their first MYHSAL title since 2010.
