Eli Gordon scored 19 points and the #14 Lions (11-5) extended their win streak to 10 games.

Sandy Spring Friends 70 Berman HA 39

Andrew Pinchot scored 14 points but the #18 Cougars (10-9) fell to the top team in the PVAC.

SOUTHEAST

Cardinal Newman 76 Katz YHS 48

Jonathan Levy had 22 points but the #13 Storm (10-6) lost in the quarterfinals of the District 3A-12 playoffs.

Edison 52 Hillel Miami 45

The Lions (2-17) almost pulled off the upset in the quarterfinals of the District 3A-14 playoffs but struggled from the free throw line going 1-for-14. Daniel Abbo had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Kenny Zafrani scored 11 points.

NORTHEAST

Tuckahoe 69 Leffell 60

Cory Rabinowitz had 12 points, Eddie Hoffman added 11 and Joe Schanzer scored 10 for the Lions (4-11).

Maimonides 61 Pioneer Charter-Saugus 44

Josh Saks scored 21 points and Raanan Gewurz added 15 as the M-Cats (6-6) broke a 3-game slide.

Gann 62 Concord Academy 59

Ben Spira had 20 points and Gaul Rones and Eli Leder added 10 each as the Red Heifers (8-4) won their third straight.

MIDWEST

Rochelle Zell 46 Elmwood Park 33

Nathan Kushnir had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Zach Rosen scored 11 points as the #15 Tigers (13-2) extended their win streak to six games.

Our Lady of the Lakes 56 Frankel Jewish Academy 33

Jaguars are now 3-7.

WEST

Yavneh Dallas 58 Lakehill Prep 43

Noah Ohayon scored 14 points and Hillel Baynash had 10 as the #11 Bulldogs (19-3) won their eighth straight game, their 55th straight regular season district victory and clinched the district title for the fifth straight year.

Beren Houston 68 Baytown Christian 42

Ariel Diner scored 36 points and Elie Gelman added 14 as the Stars (15-3) extended their win streak to five games.

Independence Home School 53 Hyman Brand HA 42

The Rams (6-6) led by five at halftime but couldn;t hold on. Judah Schuster scored 16 points and Riley Ellis had 15.

Denver Jewish Day 53 Denver Waldorf 52

The Tigers (12-2) held on to win their sixth straight game despite missing five free throws in the final minute. Andrew Zimmerman had 29 points and Gavin Foonberg added 16.

CALIFORNIA

Southern California Yeshiva 57 Cambridge 27

The Hawks (14-4) extended their win streak to 11 games behind 14 points from Greg Eiseman, 11 from Ethan Shakman and 10 from Jordan Rezmovitch.

Design Tech 64 Kehillah Jewish 59 OT

Zach Berman had 23 points and Sam Burns added 11 but the Rams (8-6) lost their fifth straight game.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

DRS 45 Flatbush 43

The battle for 1st place in the East went to the #1 Wildcats (12-2)) as they won their ninth straight game when a Falcons’ 3-pointer missed at the buzzer. Isaac Solomon led DRS with 15 points, Ezra Dubin had 12 and Ari Ivry scored 11. #8 Flatbush (8-4; 10-8) is still in the driver’s seat for 2nd place and a first-round bye in the playoffs. They were led by irwin Azar’s 16 points and 11 from Morris Chaaya.

Ramaz 57 Frisch 37

After flipping spots in the National Top 25, the #5 Rams (9-2; 12-4) used an 8-0 run to end the 1st half up 10 and cruised from there over the #6 Cougars (7-4; 10-5). Julius Rubinstein led Ramaz with 20 points and Cy Aminzadeh added 11.

Magen David 68 Rambam 41

Asher Melamed scored 24 points and Joey Lati had 12 to lead the #12 Warriors (6-5; 8-5).

Ohr Yisroel 58 JEC 51

Rami Rohzezadeh scored 26 points as the the Flames (2-10) handed the Thunder (1-8; 2-8) their sixth straight loss.

Magen Abraham 67 HANC 36

Kings (5-6; 5-8) just a half game out of a playoff spot - and a game and a half out of third place. Hurricanes fall to 2-10.
