The Aces (15-6) fell in the semifinals of the IHSA 1A sectionals. Ilana Schwartz paced Ida Crown with 11 points.

Three Division 1 prospects, including one of the state’s highest rated freshmen and a sophomore who played on Kobe Bryant’s Mambas travel team, were too much to handle as the Firehawks (23-6) fell in the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section 4A playoffs. They did qualify though for the state regionals.
