The #14 Lions (11-6) squandered a 12-point lead in the 3rd quarter and fell to the PVAC’s top team, snapping a 10-game win streak.

Berman HA 46 Waldorf 26

Andrew PInchot had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the #18 Cougars (12-9) and Simon Goldberg scored 12 points, including a three-quarter court buzzer beater at the end of the 1st quarter.

SOUTHEAST

Weber Atlanta 56 Fellowship Christian 40

Harry Kitey scored 22 points and Caleb Ouanounou added 13 as the Rams (9-15) kept their season going with a win in the play-in game of the GHSA Class A Private Region 6 playoffs.

MIDWEST

Hope defeated Ida Crown

The #20 Aces (12-6) fell in the quarterfinals of the Chicago Prep Conference tournament.

Rochelle Zell 35 CICS Northtown 34

In the quarterfinals of the Chicago Prep Conference tournament, the #15 Tigers (17-2) won their 10th straight game behind 13 points from Nathan Kushnir and 11 from Shomri Mlotek. Rochelle Zell is the #2 seed in the tournament.

WEST

Hyman Brand HA 71 Daniel Academy 61

Riley Ellis scored 47 points to help the Rams (8-7) avenge an earlier loss.

Denver Jewish Day 68 Front Range Baptist 41

Andrew Zimmerman scored 29 points and Gavin Foonberg had 22 points and 16 assists as the Tigers (14-2) won their eighth straight game.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Frisch 61 Heschel 31

The #6 Cougars (8-5; 11-6) led by just five after eight minutes but took control with a 23-0 2nd quarter. Johnny Levine led Frisch with 12 points. Ben Eskenazi had 17 points for the Heat (3-10; 4-10), who dropped their seventh straight league game.

JEC 67 Ohr Yisroel 63

The Thunder (3-10; 4-10) avenge an earlier loss and drop the Flames (2-12) into the West cellar. Yosef Heller led JEC with 26 points and Akiva Sapieka had 12 points and 14 rebounds.
