The #10 Lions (4-2) trailed the PVAC’s top team by just 1 heading to the 4th quarter but they were outscored 20-5 the rest of the way. Josh Einhorn led JDS with 11 points.

Mekor Chaim 53 Frederick Christian 35

Jon Rosen scored 24 points and Dani Ocken added 18 to help the #24 Cyclones (5-3) snap their 3-game slide.

Beth Tfiloh 56 Perry Hall Christian 51

The Warriors improve to 8-3.

Joe Schanzer’s 17 points led four players in double figures as the Lions won their season opener. Will Hirsch added 13 points, Russ Wechsler had 11 and Eddie Hoffman scored 10.

The #2 Wolfpack (16-3) couldn’t sweep the season series and had their 12-game win streak snapped. Noam Mayouhas led Valley Torah with 19 points and Ethan List had 15.

Milan Kushner scored 21 points, Evan Glasberg added 13 and Eden Bracha had 11 as the #22 Rams (4-4; 7-9) broke a 3-game slide. Gavriel Rudman led the Lions (1-7) with 27 points.

Frisch 64 Heschel 50

The #9 Cougars (8-1; 10-3) extended their win streak to five games. The Heat fall to 2-4 in the league, 4-9 overall.
