Tournament MVP Avi Halpert scored 26 points, including 19, in the 4th quarter, as the Firehawks (11-4) beat the host Wildcats in the championship game of the Milken Classic. It was the sixth straight win for Shalhevet. Noah Carmona led Milken with 12 points and Elan Dardashti added 11.

Abie Saada scored 12 points including the game-winning putback with :27 left as the visiting Falcons (3-0; 5-4) remain the only unbeaten team in the East. Allie Dweck hit one of two free throws with :08 left to bring the Warriors to within one. But after Flatbush missed a free throw Magen David’s last second baseline jumper was off the mark. Dweck and Jack Cohen each scored 11 points for the Warriors (3-2; 5-2) and Asher Melamed added 10.

The Heat (2-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead but a 2-point second quarter as their leader Ethan Nessim had two early fouls left them down eight at halftime and they never recovered. Julius Rubinstein led the Rams (3-1; 6-2) with 13 points and Caleb Rosenfeld added 10. Michael Barak had 10 points to lead Heschel.
