Bulldogs win their season opener. Maimo of the North falls to 0-2.

WEST

Beren Houston 60 Memorial Lutheran 24

Elie Gelman and Jonnie Katz each scored 14 points and Ariel Diner added 10 as the Stars (3-0) continued their early season success.

CALIFORNIA

AGBU 59 deToledo 33

The Jaguars (3-1) fall in the championship game of their deToledo Winter Invitational. Michael Galeck led deToledo with 14 points and was named to the All Tournament team. Max Creditor added 10 points.

Milken 60 New Roads 42

Noah Carmona scored 22 points and was named to the All Tournament team as the Wildcats (3-1) took 3rd Place at the deToledo Winter Invitational. Shaya Schwartz added 16 points and 17 rebounds and Elan Dardashti had 10 points.

YULA 66 Palmdale Aerospace 19

The Panthers (1-6) got their first win of the season, jumping out to 30-7 halftime lead in the 7th place game at the deToledo tournament.

Valley Torah 73 St. Monica 43

Jonny Dan scored 23 points and David Paz added 15 to lead the Wolfpack (4-0).

Calabasas 72 Shalhevet 47

Avi Halpert led the Firehawks (4-3) with 17 points and Josh Moradian added 15.

San Diego Jewish 70 Calvary Christian 37

The Lions (2-0) had a 36-19 halftime lead and then blew it open in the third.

Wolves win their season opener.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Flatbush 56 Waterbury 51

Irwin Azar scored 17 points and Morris Chaaya added 12 as the Falcons (3-3) won their league opener. The Wolfpack fell to 1-3.

YDE 68 North Shore HA 67

Isaac Tawil scored 33 points - including 17 of his team’s 21 in the 4th quarter - as the Thunder (3-1; 3-3) withstood a furious rally in the final minute to win at home. The Stars (2-2) almost came back from six down in the final minute but hit a 2-pointer with :03 left and no timeouts and the clock ran out on them. David Orbach led North Shore with 19 points and Ethan Zuckerman had 16. David Sayegh added 13 points for YDE.

HAFTR 62 Rambam 44

The Ravens (0-4) overcame a big early deficit to stay within five points most of the third quarter before the Hawks (2-1; 2-5) put the game away late. Yaacov Lazar scored 15 points for Rambam and Azaria Sussman added 12.

TABC 60 Kushner 32

The Storm improve to 3-0 in the league, 8-0 overall. The Cobras are 0-2.

Alex Schreiber led the Aces (4-2) with 18 points and Yolie Starck added 12.
