Aaron Kraut scored 15 points and the Heat held off a a 4th quarter rally by the Lions, who were led by Drew Samuelson and Yaki Liebsman with 11 points each.

Jeremiah Wolfe scored 35 points to give the Fire a 2-1 record in round robin play but they’ll still have to settle for playing in the 3rd Place game. Samuel Kaufman led the Wolves with 20 points.

Both teams gave it there all, even though they have to turn around Sunday and play each other again for the championship. Yedidiah Blau and Dov Ratner led the Mayhem with 10 points each. Ethan Cohen scored 14 points for the Knights.

Jacob Stein had 24 points and 16 rebounds to lead the #14 Warriors (12-10) into the quarterfinals, where they will face Highlands.

Posnack Jewish Day 43 Dreyfoos 41

Aviv Pearl scored 17 points and the Rams (10-11) won their fourth straight game to earn a quarterfinal matchup with Divine Savior.

Jake Silvers scored 24 points and Zach Rosen had 10 and the #20 Tigers (11-7) avenged an earlier loss to the #19 Aces (9-6). Josh Goltz had 17 points for Ida Crown and Micah Cohen added 11.

Jacob Benezra’s corner trey put the #2 Firehawks (15-14) ahead in the final minute and two free throws by Avi Halpert iced the team’s fifth straight win. The #10 Panthers (14-7) couldn’t hold on after scoring the first four points of overtime and lost for the first time in four games.

The Wolfpack (23-4) rallied from 15 down but came up short, losing for the first time in nine games. Johnny Dan scored 16 points.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

The #18 Cougars (7-6 League; 15-9 Overall) were missing two starters but took control in the third quarter. Max Zakheim and Billy Krause each scored 16 points. The #3 Storm dropped to 10-3 in the league and 13-4 overall.

Albert Nsiri scored 23 points and Edmond Antebi added 17 as the #1 Warriors (11-2; 24-3) won their 6th straight game. The Falcons (4-8; 4-9) were led by Eli Cohen with 15 points and still have an outside shot at making the playoffs.

Zack Cytryn scored 15 points, Irwin Sutton added 14 and Mo Tobias had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the #9 Heat (11-2; 18-8). The win coupled with TABC’s loss clinches a first-round bye for Hillel in the playoffs and they can clinch 1st Place in the West with a win in their final game against Waterbury Yeshiva on Wednesday. Josh Shapiro and Ben Huppert each scored 10 points for the Cobras (2-12; 4-14).
