Gav Landau hit seven 3-pointers en route to 27 points and Justin Tepper scored 11 points as the #25 Warriors (15-11) secured the third seed in next week's MIAA C tournament semifinals. 


NORTHEAST

Gann 61 Boston Trinity 59

The #14 Red Heifers (16-5) were down 12 in the first half and by seven at halftime but rallied to win in the championship game of the Mass Bay Independent League playoffs, their first league title since 2011. Eli Cole led Gann with 20 points, including 19 in the second half. Matt Gluck added 14 points and Dan Metser and Yahm Rones had 12 each. Including two playoff wins, Gann was 10-0 in MBIL play this year and now await word on an invite to the NEPSAC tournament.

Assaf Arieh scored 21 points, including a pair of free throws with :02 left to win it. Josh Berger added 13 points for the Roadrunners (8-8) and Ian Rosen grabbed 14 rebounds.


CANADA

Wildcats (7-5) fall in the quarterfinals of the GMAA Division 3 playoffs, snapping their 5-game winning streak.


SOUTHEAST

Champagnat    55    HA Miami    52

The Warriors (12-15) came up just short in their bid for District title, falling to the top seed in the FHSAA 3A-8 championship game. HA does qualify to move on and will play the 3A-7 champ in the regional semifinals.

The Eagles (9-8) end their season with a loss in the Round of 16 of the NCISAA 2A playoffs.


WEST

In a tuneup for the state playoffs, Tyler Winton scored 20 points and Mason Schwaber added 19 but the #12 Bulldogs (25-6) felt the absence of leading scorer Ofek Reef as they lost for the first time in 16 games.


CALIFORNIA

The #1 Firehawks (28-7) lose for the first time in seven games, falling in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 3A playoffs

The #11 Panthers (17-13) have their 5-game win streak snapped in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 5AA playoffs.

Western Christian    74     DeToledo    70

Liam Evenhaim scored 29 points, Dylan Esulin added 15 and Jack Bromberg had 13 but the Jaguars (14-11) fall in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 5A playoffs.


YESHIVA LEAGUE

In the opening round of the playoffs, the Thunder (9-13) kept it close before DRS (16-8) turned it on in the 4th quarter.  Gavriel Kahn scored 24 points for the Wildcats, who now play TABC in the quarterfinals.
