YESHIVA LEAGUE
Shaare Torah 65 YDE 63
It was only fitting that a wild game in Brooklyn came down to a wild finish. Jackie Haber hit two free throws after he was fouled on a desperation 3-pointer in the final seconds as the #9 Stars (3-1 League; 6-2 Overall) held on after rallying from 11 down.
The Shaare Torah comeback ended with them up six in the final two minutes but a pair of treys by the Thunder (3-2; 3-4) tied the game. With :07 left, Shaare Torah missed a pair of free throws and YDE got the rebound. But Haber stripped the ball away, setting up the winning free throws. Shlomie Anbeh led the Stars with 18 points, Freedy Swaid added 17 and Haber had 16.
