CALIFORNIA

SHALHEVET       56         VALLEY TORAH      52

#6 Firehawks (22-9) got their ninth straight win by  rallying from 16 down to topple the #1 Wolfpack (23-5). Zack Muller led Shalhevet with 14 points, Zeev Remer added 13 and Asher Dauer had 11 and the Firehawks held JHA leading scorer Ryan Turell to just 13 points. Nadiv and Nimi Altit each scored 15 points for Valley Torah.

#2 Wildcats (14-9) had just 19 points and trailed by 11 with five minutes left in the third quarter before ending the game on a 37-19 run. Amitai Afenjar scored 17 points, Doron Matian added 14 and Aaron Harouni returned to the lineup with 12.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Benjamin Kornblum scored 19 points as the #20 Hawks (7-7; 15-17) ended their regular season with a shot at fourth place in the division and a home playoff game. #14 Hurricanes (7-6; 9-10) will play HAFTR in the opening round but must beat Rambam in their final game to avoid dropping to fifth place and going on the road. Oren Betesh led HANC with 25 points and Moshe Khalili added 22.

Moshe Heller hit 11-of-12 free throws en route to a game high 23 points as the Thunder (5-7; 9-15) kept their hopes at a playoff berth alive. Yair Kimel added 18 points, Joe Matthew had 14 and Jacob Winters scored 12. Harry Stiel paced the Cobras (3-9; 6-12) with 20 points.

Grant Primer scored 27 points, Eli Nasatir added 17 and Idan Chazan had 10 and the #9 Tigers (14-4) led by as many as 26 in avenging earlier loss. Amitai Kolom led the #15 Aces (11-7) with 19 points and Ryan Bokor had 10 in his return to the lineup.

Cougars improve to 8-8. Kings (6-8) have their 3-game win streak snapped.

Judah Oppenheimer had 14 points and Josh Gurin scored 13 to lead the #8 Sting (12-1 league; 16-5 overall). Eitan Pfeifer and Shlomo Meisels each scored 12 points for the Lions (5-9; 7-12), who will next play at the Sarachek Tournament in March.

The Storm (8-6; 9-11) opened up a 10-3 lead and were never threatened. Jonathan Haberman scored 16 points and Avi Proctor added 13. Ilan Orgel led the #11 Heat (8-5:18-10) with 19 points.
