Zack Muller scored 27 points as the #1 Firehawks (17-3) won in pool play to reach the semifinals of the Ventura Kiwanis Holiday Tournament, extending their win streak to nine.

A night after almost blowing a 27-point lead, the #8 Wildcats (8-4 league; 11-5 overall) again needed double overtime, this time rallying from eight down at the start of the 4th quarter. The #15 Ravens (6-5; 10-8)  forced overtime with an Aaron Azose 3-pointer with :03 left. Then they forced another extra period when Ethan Aaron was fouled on a 3-point shot and hit all three free throws. But DRS knocked down their free throws in the second overtime and now find themselves in first place in the Eastern Division. Zack Brown led the Wildcats with 26 points and Gavriel Kahn added 17.

Danny Weinberger scored 17 points and Max Mayerhoff had 10 to lead the #4 Cougars (7-3; 9-6). The Heat fell to 4-10, 3-6 in the league.

The #9 Panthers (11-8) trailed by five after three quarters but scored 25 points in the 4th. Joseph Sassoon scored 14 points and Yaniv Silvera hit three 3-pointers in the second half. It was the first loss in 10 games for the #17 Wolfpack (14-7), who were led by Liorel Bitton with 13 points, Benji Dan with 12 and Jacob Cohn and Akiva Kamornick with 11 each.

Zack Muller scored 17 points, Zeev Remer added 13 and Asher Dauer had 12 as the #1 Firehawks (15-3) won in pool play at the Ventura Kiwanis Holiday Tournament.

The visiting #8 Wildcats (7-4 league; 10-5) scored the game's first 18 points  and led 41-14 at halftime. But the #2 Warriors (6-3; 13-3) chipped away, eventually taking a 1-point lead late in the 4th quarter before DRS forced OT with a late free throw. No one scored in the first extra session and AJ Bennett hit two key 3-pointers in double OT to win it for DRS. Gavriel Kahn returned to the lineup to lead DRS with 21 points, Zack Brown scored 19 and Bennett finished with 16. Michael Natkin led the Warriors with 33 points, Ray Jajati had 15 and Albert Nsiri added 13.

The #7 Hawks (6-4; 15-9) jumped out to an 8-2 lead but it was all Falcons after that as #21 Flatbush (7-5; 11-7) led by 12 at halftime and cruised after that.

Eitan Warburg scored 23 points, Hudy Weiss added 15 and Eitan Pfeiffer had 12 as the Lions (4-5; 5-8) won their third straight. Gabe Plotsker had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Cobras (4-6; 5-10) and Nadav Twizer added 10 points.
