Mesivta 61 AIM 46

The Mustangs (19-5) jumped out to a double-digit 1st quarter lead and were never threatened as they won the Penn-Jersey championship game. Dov Hirsch led Mesivta with 15 points.

Feb. 22

CANADA

St. John’s 83 King David HS 62

The Lions (11-2) fell in the Vancouver Sea to Sky Zone championship game.

MIDWEST

Fasman Yeshiva 59 Chicago Math & Science 24

Adir Amster scored 23 points and Chayim Zahtz added 18 as #15 The Yeshiva improved to 14-6 heading into the IHSA regionals.

WEST

Frontier School of Excellence 64 Hyman Brand H.A.

The 6th seeded Rams (6-15) fell in the quarterfinals of the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament.

Feb. 21

CALIFORNIA

Pinewood 72 Kehillah Jewish 62

The unseeded Rams (16-6) fell to the #9 seed in the opening round of the CIF Central Coast Division 5 opening round. Casey Clugage scored 23 points for Kehillah, Tal Lerner and Eshaan Katar added 12 each and Bodhi Gemello had 10.

MIDATLANTIC

Jewish Day School 42 Berman H.A. 32

After two losses to their rivals in the regular season, the Lions (20-6) won the one that counted in the Potomac Valley Athletic Conference championship game. JDS led by three at the half and scored the first six points of the 3rd quarter and the Cougars couldn’t recover. Jordana Dauber led the Lions with 14 points and Tali Loeffler added 10. Ayla Offer led Berman (18-9) with 10 points.

CALIFORNIA

University Prep 50 Kehillah Jewish 48

Noga Kohavi scored 22 points and Ariella Sheppard added 18 but the unseeded Rams (14-3) had their 7-game win streak snapped by the #9 seed in the opening round of the CIF Central Coast Division 5 sectionals.

The Knights (8-11) chipped away at a 23-point 1st half deficit but came up short in the TDCAA Senior A semifinals. Yonatan Sarna scored 22 points and Sam Essebag added 11.

CHAT 78 Chaminade 64

Jacob Zackheim scored 43 points and Etai Bergman added 12 as the #22 Tigers (31-5) won their fourth straight game to advance to the TDCAA Senior AAA championship game.

Bialik 42 Vincent Massey 35

The 4th seeded Bulldogs (8-9) advance to the GMAA Division 4.1 semifinals.

MIDWEST

Fuchs Mizrachi 55 Trinity 51

Elitzur Sharvit and Moshe Jacobs each scored 16 points and Elisha Pizam added 11 as the Mayhem (14-4) rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit to win their fifth straight game.

WEST

Yavneh Dallas 67 Abilene Christian 63

The Bulldogs rallied from 11-point 1st half deficit to qualify for the TAPPS 3A state semifinals for the eighth time in 10 years.

CALIFORNIA

SCY High 45 Liberty Charter 30

The #2 seeded Hawks (11-9) beat the #7 seed to advance to the CIF San Diego 5AA sectional semifinals.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SAR  50    Ramaz 41

The #7 Sting (21-6) overcame a sluggish start to avenge two regular season losses and advance to the quarterfinals. Ari Halpert led SAR with 23 points and Sam Weiss added 17. The #13 Rams end the season at 15-12.

Talia Linzer scored 13 points and Daria Lennon added 12 but the #7 Aces (14-7) fell in the IHSA regional final.

WEST

Fellowship Academy 68 Yavneh Dallas 29

The Bulldogs (15-8) had their 10-game win streak snapped in the TAPPS 3A quarterfinals. Jordan Spalding scored 12 points.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SAR 58 SKA 56 OT

Liv Solomon scored 29 points and the #1 Sting (19-2) won their sixth straight game to advance to the title game against defending champs Frisch. Daphna Steinmetz led the #5 Sonics (12-4) with 27 points, including a putback at the buzzer in regulation hat sent the game to overtime.

Adi Topolosky had a career-high 22 points to lead the Cougars (18-8) in the PVAC semifinals.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Frisch 53 North Shore H.A. 50

In the semifinals, Zoey Levy scored 20 points, Izzy Nadtrich added 13 points and Sarah Singer had six of her 8 points on back-to-back 3-pointers to put the defending champion #2 Cougars (19-2) ahead to stay with 3 minutes left. The loss snapped a 12-game win streak for the #3 Lions (26-5), who were led by Dillan Haghighat with 22 points.
