Jenny Kagan scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Cougars (12-4), who won their eighth straight game and swept the season series. JDS (10-3) struggled from the field all game and the margin would have been worse had it not been for the interior play of Talia Sporkin, who blocked 15 shots and grabbed 10 rebounds.

JDS had their 4-game win streak snapped. It was a 19-point game early in the 4th quarter before a 12-0 Lions run got them within striking distance but the Cougars hit all but one of their free throws down the stretch.
