The Lions got to within 28-24 with three minutes left in the 3rd quarter - but didn’t score again until the final :25. Jenny Kagan scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Cougars (12-4), who won their eighth straight game and swept the season series. JDS (10-3) struggled from the field all game and the margin would have been worse had it not been for the interior play of Talia Sporkin, who blocked 15 shots and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Asher Falk scored 28 points, Erez Epstein had 12 points and 11 rebounds and Gabey Margulies added 10 points as the #24 Cougars (13-11) won their seventh straight game and swept the season series from the #9 Lions (9-4) for the first time since 1996. JDS had their 4-game win streak snapped. It was a 19-point game early in the 4th quarter before a 12-0 Lions run got them within striking distance but the Cougars hit all but one of their free throws down the stretch.

Nope not a typo. Michael Galeck’s 35 points led five players in double figures for the #16 Jaguars (16-4). Ben Geffner and Harel Levi each added 14 points and Liad Edri and Ben Akoka scored 13 apiece.

The Lions (10-5) rallied from 19 points down in the 4th quarter. Yonah Light led Tarbut with 33 points and 14 rebounds and Isaac Joelson had 18 points.
