This was a tight game for three quarters before the Sting poured it on in the 4th . Akiva Shanzer led the Sting (2-0) with 24 points, Benny Neuwirth added 16 off the bench and Nitty Hyman had 10. Ethan Nessim scored a game-high 26 points for the Heat (1-1) and Michael Barak added 12.
It took the Warriors 7:55 to score their first field goal but they made up for it over the final three quarters as they stifled the Wolfpack Asher Melamed paced Magen David (1-1; 3-1) with 21 points and Allie Dweck and Joseph Cohen each added 10. Yisroel Winter scored 10 points for Waterbury (1-2).
Akiva Hess and Yosef Heller each had 16 points and Akiva Sapeika pulled down 22 rebounds as the Thunder (1-3 League; 2-3 overall) ended a 3-game slide. JEC led throughout but sealed the game with a 23-0 run in the 4th quarter before Rambam (0-2) managed a 3-pointer in the final minute. Yaakov Lazar led the Ravens with 11 points.
Tzvi Rudman scored 16 points to help the Lions (3-0) stay unbeaten. The Flames dropped to 0-3.
