FAYE COMET & HARRIET STARK GIRLS INVITATIONAL
Round Robin
Eden Chaken scored 18 points to lead the Lions and Eliana Lefkovitz added 16.
Izzy Wilbur led the #17 Mayhem with 24 points and Dahlia Messeloff added 11.
Adi Topolosky scored 16 points, Ayla Offer added 15 and Rimonne Zakheim had 12 to lead the #9 Cougars (24-3).
The #9 Cougars (25-3) had to rally from 10 points down to get their 12th straight win. Nitzahn Epstein led Berman with 16 points and Adi Topolosky added 15.
MIDWEST
Shylee Blavvise scored 21 points but the #14 Tigers fell to the top seed in the IHSA 1A Chicago Sectional final, the furthest the team has ever advanced.
WEST
Tara Goldberg-Butler scored 18 points, Adira Bielsky added 14 and Bayla Milobsky had 12 as the Tigers (11-4) won the District 8-1A championship game, the school’s first-ever girls district title.
CANADA
The Lions fell in the consolation bracket of the British Columbia 1A Provincial Championships.
The annual Faye Comet & Harriet Stark Girls Invitational tipped off Thursday at Fuchs Mizrachi in Beachwood, OH.
The round-robin tournament features the host #17 Mayhem, #9 Berman H.A. from Maryland, Ulpana Orot from Toronto, Columbus Torah Academy, Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh and Farber Hebrew Day from Michigan.

Akiva Ravin scored 38 points as the Knights (13-5) advance to the ISSAC championship game.
SOUTHEAST
The Rams (5-22) fell to the 2nd seed in the opening round of the GHSA Private Schools playoffs.
MIDWEST
The Yeshiva (15-12) was within 3 points midway through the 3rd quarter in the IHSA 1A Melrose Park regional semifinals but the top seed closed the game on a 31-6 run.
The #14 Aces (23-1) won their 13th straight game to advance to the IHSA 1A Skokie regional final.
WEST
The Stars (17-5) had their 7-game win streak snapped in the TAPPS 1A state semifinals.
The defending state champs got 27 points from Aeden Haviv and 19 from Brendy Eber to advance to the TAPPS 3A title game. The Bulldogs have won eight straight games.
GIRLS
YESHIVA LEAGUE
Nava Bousbib scored 23 points, Ava Cohen added 20 and Alex Magence had 10 as the #2 Sting (25-1) advance to the championship game, where they will face Frisch for the fourth time this season. The #8 Lions (22-8) ran out of steam after cutting a 19-point late 3rd quarter deficit down to five with 4:50 left in the game. Dillan Haghighat led them with 22 points.
CANADA
The 11th seeded Lions fell to the 6-seed in the opening round of the British Columbia 1A Provincial Championships.
BOYS
MIDATLANTIC
The 2nd seeded Cyclones (18-11) got their fifth straight win to advance to the Independent Small Schools Athletic Conference semifinals. Sammy Carter led the way with 24 points and Aaron Hoffman and Moshe Reitberger added 11 each. Yoni Bakayev hit a 3-pointer to reach 1,000 points for his career.
Akiva Ravin scored 32 points to pass 1,000 for his career and Yakov Radner had a triple double with 10 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, as the top-seeded Knights (12-5) won in the ISSAC quarterfinals.
CANADA
The Lions won in the semifinals and finals to capture the GVISAA title.
MIDWEST
Moshe Jacobs scored 39 points, passing 1,000 for his career, as the #22 Mayhem won their fifth straight game.
WEST
Solly Bielsky’s coast-to-coast layup with :02 left gave the Tigers (13-8) their fifth straight win and sent them to the District 8-1A championship game.
Ami Gelman and Natan Shafran each scored 10 points to lead the Wolves (10-10).
CALIFORNIA
The Lions (19-5) fell in the CIF San Diego Division 5 sectional semifinals.
GIRLS
MIDWEST
The #14 Tigers (17-7) battled back from 11 points down in the 3rd quarter to win an IHSA 1A sectional semifinal for the first time. Shylee Blavvise scored 31 points and Gaya Bannai added 21.
Mayan Bergman scored 23 points and Dahlia Messeloff added 17 to lead the #17 Mayhem (14-8).
WEST
Tara Goldberg-Butler scored 17 points, Kaitlin Schatz added 16 and Bayla Milobsky had 10 as the Tigers (10-4) won in the District 8-1A semifinals.
