Alex August scored 29 points, Noah Lichtman added 20 and Ezra Sushner had 12 as the #13 Cougars (22-10) got their ninth straight win to advance to the PVAC semifinals. August passed Rodney Monroe (St. Maria Goretti, 3,046 pts) and Daryl Pope (Broadfording Christian, 3,063) into 2nd place all-time among Maryland high school career scoring leaders with 3,075 points.

In the PVAC quarterfinals the #15 Lions (23-6) extended their win streak to six games.

Shaked Ben David scored 23 points but the 4th seeded Mustangs (13-10) fell to the 5th seed in the Penn Jersey league quarterfinals.

Lower Canada 68 HA Montreal 65

Simon Alloul scored 23 points and Daniel Levy added 15 but the #25 Heat (8-6) fell in the GMAA D3 quarterfinals.

In the TDCAA ‘A’ quarterfinals, Sam Essebag led the Knights (11-4) with 18 points, Ethan Berkowitz added 16 and Itai Sogaokar had 11.

Jacob Zackheim had 45 points and Eitan Scheinbach scored 25 as the Tigers (14-9) advanced to the TDCAA ‘AAA’ semifinals.

The #16 Aces (20-1) got their tenth straight win and advanced to the Chicago Prep Conference championship game.

WEST

Yavneh Dallas 59 Christian Life 44

The Bulldogs (15-10) won their fifth straight game and advanced to the TAPPS 3A quarterfinals.

Beren Houston 39 Heritage 38

Rafi Miller scored 17 points and Jonathan Kluger added 15 as the Stars (16-4) won their sixth straight game and reached to TAPPS 1A quarterfinals for the 6th time in school history.

Lummi Nation 81 Northwest Yeshiva HS 34

The #24 Lions (16-9) had their 5-game win streak snapped by the top-seeded and 5th in the state Blackhawks in the District 1/2/3 2B quarterfinals. NYHS can still advance to state tournament if they win one of two consolation games.

Solly Bielsky’s 19 points led the Tigers (11-8).

CALIFORNIA

Shalhevet 46 Jordan 45

Ben Jacobson put back his brother’s miss at the buzzer to give the #6 Firehawks (23-8) their 12th straight win and send them to the CIFSS Division 4 semifinals. Sam Jacobson led Shalhevet with 23 points and Yakov Liberman added 11.

Southern California Yeshiva 84 SET 51

The 6th seeded Hawks (7-12) beat the 11th seed to advance to the CIF-San Diego Division 5AA quarterfinals. Maxwell Eiseman led SCY with 28 points, Adin Factor added 18 and Eli Lugusi had 16.

Judah Well scored 27 points to lead the top-seeded #16 Aces (19-1) to their ninth straight win and a spot in the Chicago Prep semifinals.

Holy Trinity 48 Rochelle Zell 47

In the Chicago Prep quarterfinals, the 6th seeded Tigers (4-18) rallied from 10 points down midway through the fourth quarter, tying the game on a 3-pointer by Zalman Kramer with :17 left, but lost on a free throw following a questionable foul call with :01.5 left.

Fuchs Mizrachi 49 Christian Community 11

Moshe Jacobs scored 15 points and Louis Frank added 12 to lead the #22 Mayhem (12-8).

Ariana Aslemand scored 17 points and grabbed 21 rebounds and Ayla Offer had a triple double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the #9 Cougars (21-3) got their eighth win in a row and advanced to the PVAC semifinals.

Jordana Dauber had 30 points and 10 rebounds and Yarden Wilkenfeld added 11 points as the #15 Lions (13-5) won in the PVAC quarterfinals.

Shana Leibowitz scored 16 points but the Warriors (10-11) fell in the IAAM ‘C’ semifinals.

The #10 Storm (13-11) fell in the 2A regional quarterfinals.

The Rams (9-10) end their season with a loss in the 2A regional quarterfinals.

The #17 Mayhem fell to 13-8.

WEST

Burton Adventist 39 Yavneh Dallas 33

The Bulldogs (11-11) fell in a tiebreaker for 2nd place in their district.

CALIFORNIA

Shalhevet 51 Bolsa Grande 30

The #4 Firehawks (18-9) got 17 points from Gabriela Ackermann and 12 from Sarah Edwards as they advanced to the CIFSS Division 4 Round of 16.

YULA 60 San Bernardino 24

The #5 Panthers (18-9) advanced to the Round of 16 in the CIF Division 5 playoffs with their fifth straight win. Shishi Abramson led YULA with 33 points and Naami Rosenblatt added 14.

Bishop Diego 62 Milken 54

The #12 Wildcats (16-11) end their season with a loss in the CIFSS Division 5 opening round.

Kehillah Jewish 45 Calvary Christian 26

The Rams are 7-10.

MIDWEST

Ida Crown 55 Fasman Yeshiva 32

Ayeden Mishkin and Judah Well each scored 12 points and Solly Robinson added 11 as the #16 Aces (19-1) cruised to their ninth straight win. The Yeshiva is 13-11.

NORTH

Northwest Yeshiva HS 71 Darrington 60

The #24 Lions (16-8), the 8-seed, beat the 9th seed in the District 1/2/3 2B playoffs to avoid elimination, their fifth straight win - 4th that was do-or-die. Next they must play the top seed Lummi Nation (5th in the state) but have some wiggle room if they lose because they have two games after that and only have to win one of the three to advance to state tournament. Evan Kaufthal passed 1,000 points for his career, scoring 16 on the night. Adin Goldsmith had 17 points, Sam Weichbrodt scored 16 and Sam Cherniicoff added 15.

CALIFORNIA

Shalhevet 42 Palm Springs 41

Sam Jacobson’s layup with :04 left gave the #6 Firehawks (22-8) their 11th straight win and put them in the CIFSS Division 4 quarterfinals. Jacobson finished with 13 points, Judah Stern added 12.

Webb 74 YULA 71 3OT

The #23 Panthers (10-21) lost in the CIFSS Division 7 Round of 16 on a 3-pointer with :10 left. Sam Noah scored 28 points for YULA.
