The Lions (5-5) rallied from six points down in the 2nd half and gave up only two points in the fourth quarter. Mica Hazan led with 13 points, David Albilia had 12 and Zee Itzkowitz scored 10.

The Rams (5-5) squandered a 10-point 2nd half lead but held on to win.

Grayson Coleman led the Wildcats (4-3) with 26 points and Ashton Javaheri added 11. Dvir Assayag Raham had 9 points for the Wolfpack (4-3).

In pool play at the West Valley Tip-Off Classic, Sam Jacobson led the Firehawks (7-2) with 20 points, Ben Jacobson added 15 and Yakov Liberman had 11.

Wolves improve to 3-1.

Alon Sidi’s 18 points led four players in double figures for the Rams (6-1; 7-5), who won their third straight game. Emanuel Kushner added 16 points, Stanley Cayre had 14 and Edward Ash scored 11. Yonki Finkelstein led the Cobras (2-5; 4-7) with 19 points and Asher Nochom added 12.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Frisch 63 Heschel 37

The Cougars (6-1; 10-2) raced out to a 24-2 lead and were never threatened en route to their fourth straight win. Isaac Stepner led Frisch with 14 points, Judah Suss added 12 and Jesse Reinhart had 11. Oz Zuker had 17 points for the Heat (2-5).

DRS 74 Waterbury Yeshiva 41

Elisha Tsaidi scored 29 points and Yitz Bennett added 14 as the Wildcats (5-0; 9-2) won their fifth straight game. The Wolfpack (3-5) were led by Yechiel Benayon’s 21 points.

Hillel 49 JEC 30

The Heat improve to 7-6, 3-3 in the league. Thunder drop to 1-5 in the league, 4-9 overall.

GIRLS

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SAR 65 Hillel 28

Liv Solomon led the Sting (6-0; 12-0) with 21 points, Nava Bousbib added 19 and Ava Cohen had 13. The Heat are 0-6.

Yaakov Radner scored 27 points and Akiva Ravin added 15 to lead the Knights (3-3) to their third straight win. Yoni Bakayev led the Cyclones (3-1) with 20 points and Sammy Carter had 18.

CALIFORNIA

Valley Torah 51 Shalhevet 37

Emmitt Victor led the Wolfpack (4-2) with 10 points. Yakov Liberman scored 15 points and Sam Jacobson added 11 for the Firehawks (6-2), who had their 3-game win streak snapped.

Pilibos 59 YULA 52

The Panthers fall to 1-7.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

DRS 63 Magen David 46

In a battle between the last two undefeated teams in league play, the host Wildcats (4-0; 8-2) trailed by 8 with six minutes to play in the 3rd but closed the quarter on an 18-2 run to take control. Gaby Spodek had 21 points to lead DRS and Shoham Gabbay added 16. Samuel Chira led the Warriors (5-1; 10-4) with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

GIRLS

Campbell Hall 62 YULA 55

The Panthers (5-3) cut a 26-point deficit down to 4 in the final minutes but came up short. Shishi Abramson led YULA with 28 points and Naama Rosenblatt had 11.

Shalhevet 61 Ramona Convent 5

Gabriela Ackermann scored 22 points and Marielle Bitran added 11 to lead the Firehawks (5-1).

Yossi Davidowitz led the Hurricanes (2-4; 4-5) with 17 points. Nate Cohen had 16 points for the Ravens (2-7; 2-9).

North Shore H.A. 56 YDE 40

The Lions (5-1; 13-2) won their fourth straight game as Charlie Sassoon (20 points) and Benji Levian (12) combined for 10 3-pointers and Andrew Kohanin had 12 points, 12 rebounds. The Thunder are now 1-5, 1-3 in the league.
