YESHIVA LEAGUE

GIRLS

Flatbush 54 Magen David 33

Kelly Fatiha led the Falcons (4-0; 4-4) with 13 points and Esther Kroub added 10. The Warriors are 2-5.

HANC 46 HAFTR 43 OT

Binah Baturov scored 21 points and Tehila Reiss added 10 as the Hurricanes (2-0) rallied from 7 points down in the 4th. The Hawks (3-2) had their 3-game win streak snapped.

BOYS

Magen David 49 SAR 46

Jacob Chami’s 3-pointer with :31 seconds left won it for the Warriors (2-0; 7-3). Chami and Samuel Chira each scored 14 points and Chira pulled down 17 rebounds. Evan Goldberg led the Sting (1-1; 7-3) with 20 points.

HAFTR 56 HANC 41

Game was close through 3 but the Hawks (2-0; 5-3) pulled away late for their fourth straight win. Asher Freundlich scored 21 points, Daniel Naumberg added 14 and Nate Mayer had 10. The Hurricanes are now 1-1 in the league, 3-2 overall.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

BOYS

Frisch 73 Flatbush 66

Isaac Stepner scored 22 points, Nathan Neufeld added 17 and Noam Grossman had 12 as the Cougars (3-1; 7-2) avenge loss in last weekend’s Glouberman tourney final and snap Falcons (1-1: 9-3) 4-game win streak. Frisch went 2-1 in Back-to-Back-to Back league games this week. Charles Levy led Flatbush with 12 points and Sam Jemal and Claude Pardo added 11 each.

SAR 63 Hillel 38

In the league opener for both teams, Avery Simon led the Sting (7-2) with 12 points and Evan Goldberg added 11. Bruce Epstein had 8 points for the Heat (4-4).

Ramaz 67 Kushner 50

Noah Hiltzik scored 23 points, including 14 in the 1st quarter, Alon Sidi had 16 and Asaf Seinfeld added 13 to lead the Rams (2-0; 4-4) on the road. Yoni Finkelstein led the Cobras (2-1) with 16 points and Ryan Brand added 14.

Magen David 65 Rambam 23

Jacob Chami scored 14 points and Solly Hara added 13 as the Warriors (6-3) won their league opener. Ravens now 1-3 in the league, 1-5 overall.

MTA 56 Heschel 38

The Lions (1-1) scored the last eight points of the first half to lead by 11 and then outscored the Heat (0-3) 19-0 in the 3rd to put the game away. Yishai Neiss led MTA with 16 points and Efraim Avramov added 13.

YDE 69 Waterbury Yeshiva 56

The Thunder now 1-1 in the league, 1-3 overall. Wolfpack fall to 1-3.

GIRLS

HAFTR 47 Ma’ayanot 45 OT

Maya Spira scored 18 points as the Hawks (3-1) won their third straight game. Sivan Sher led the Rapids (1-4) with 10 points.

Manhattan Heat improve to 3-0. Jersey Heat now 0-4.

BOYS

Akiva Borgen scored 19 points, Yonatan Faber added 16 and Yosef Kahn had 10 to lead the Storm (1-0; 2-3) in their league opener. Isaac Stepner had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Cougars (2-1; 6-2), who never recovered from scoring just one point over the final six minutes of the first half. Jesse Reinhart added 12 points.

BOYS

Elisha Tsaidi scored 24 points as the Wildcats (1-0; 5-2) won the league opener for both teams. The Thunder are now 0-3 overall.

Frisch 44 MTA 40 OT

Isaac Stepner’s long 3-pointer from the top of the key with :26 left put the Cougars ahead and they held on for the comeback win. Stepner, the Cougars’ leading scorer, struggled most of the game and had just 3 points through three quarters. But he scored the Cougars’ final five points of regulation to tie the game and the last five points of overtime.

GIRLS

Ma’ayanot 41 Hillel 37

Leeba Weiss led the Rapids (1-3) with 11 points. Ruby Shalom and Mary Cohen each had 10 points for the Heat (0-3).

Nov. 3

Heschel 54 Magen David 48

The Heat improve to 2-0. Michelle Cohen and Rina Fatiha led the Warriors (2-3) with 12 points each and Danielle Alfaks added 11.

TIER 1

Championship - North Shore H.A. 51 DRS 42

The Lions (9-1) trailed by 5 heading to the 4th quarter but outscored the Wildcats 21-7 the rest of the way to claim the title. Andrew Kohanim led North Shore with 14 points and Benji Levian added 13. Elisha Tsaidi scored 15 points for the Wildcats

3rd Place - Hillel 52 Magen David 46

Aaron Gindi scored 21 points and Ronnie Gindi added 12 to lead the Heat (4-3). Isaac Alfaks led the Warriors (5-3) with 13 points and Maurice Melamed had 10.

5th Place - Milken 80 Valley Torah 33

Ashton Javaheri led a balanced attack with 16 points for the Wildcats (3-1). Dinn Duvdevani and Jonah Gordon each added 13 points and Daniel Kohanim scored 11.

7th Place - Berman H.A. 62 TABC 57

Alex August scored 20 points, Noah Lichtman added 15 and Reuven Antine had 14 to lead the Cougars (2-2). Natali Hochstein’s 16 points led four players in double figures for the Storm (1-3). Akiva Borgen added 15, Yosef Kahn had 12 and Yehuda Taub scored 11.

TIER 2

1st Place - HAFTR 44 Ohr HaTorah 38

Asher Freundlich scored 17 points and Nate Mayer added 12 for the Hawks (4-3). Toby Levy had 13 points for the Thunder (2-2).

3rd Place - Jewish Day School 53 JEC 42

Theo Pearlman scored 16 points and Jesse Fisher added 11 to lead the Lions (3-2). Binyamin Dombeck, JJ Leonorovitz and Ashi Strauss each scored 8 points for the Thunder (3-5).

TIER 3

1st Place - Katz YHS 69 H.A. Montreal 59

Nir Ovaknin paced the Storm (3-2) with 35 points. Simon Alloul led the Heat (2-3) with 33.

3rd Place - Posnack Jewish Day 54 Maimonides 52

Guy Shlomi led the Rams (3-3) with 19 points, Austin Ben-Shmuel added 17 and Mark Mann had 10. Amiel Jotkowitz scored 17 points and Itai Winograd added 10 for the M-Cats (1-3).

5th Place - Fasman Cooper 68 Cooper Memphis 43

The Yeshiva (2-2) was led by Srulie Lebedinsky with 19 points, David Bar Natan with 12 and Elisha Neikrug with 10. Jack Kampf had 13 for the Macs (4-4) and Eli Weisfogel added 10.

7th Place - Yeshiva Greater Washington 67 Rochelle Zell 19

The Knights (1-3) got in the win column behind 23 points from Yaakov Radner and 20 from Akiva Ravin.
