National Results - Boys & Girls - Nov. 3-4, 2025

BOYS

DRS 46 YDE 42

Elisha Tsaidi scored 24 points as the Wildcats (1-0; 5-2) won the league opener for both teams. The Thunder are now 0-3 overall.

Frisch 44 MTA 40 OT

Isaac Stepner’s long 3-pointer from the top of the key with :26 left put the Cougars ahead and they held on for the comeback win. Stepner, the Cougars’ leading scorer, struggled most of the game and had just 3 points through three quarters. But he scored the Cougars’ final five points of regulation to tie the game and the last five points of overtime.

GIRLS

Ma’ayanot 41 Hillel 37

Leeba Weiss led the Rapids (1-3) with 11 points. Ruby Shalom and Mary Cohen each had 10 points for the Heat (0-3).

Nov. 3

Heschel 54 Magen David 48

The Heat improve to 2-0. Michelle Cohen and Rina Fatiha led the Warriors (2-3) with 12 points each and Danielle Alfaks added 11.

TIER 1

Championship - North Shore H.A. 51 DRS 42

The Lions (9-1) trailed by 5 heading to the 4th quarter but outscored the Wildcats 21-7 the rest of the way to claim the title. Andrew Kohanim led North Shore with 14 points and Benji Levian added 13. Elisha Tsaidi scored 15 points for the Wildcats

3rd Place - Hillel 52 Magen David 46

Aaron Gindi scored 21 points and Ronnie Gindi added 12 to lead the Heat (4-3). Isaac Alfaks led the Warriors (5-3) with 13 points and Maurice Melamed had 10.

5th Place - Milken 80 Valley Torah 33

Ashton Javaheri led a balanced attack with 16 points for the Wildcats (3-1). Dinn Duvdevani and Jonah Gordon each added 13 points and Daniel Kohanim scored 11.

7th Place - Berman H.A. 62 TABC 57

Alex August scored 20 points, Noah Lichtman added 15 and Reuven Antine had 14 to lead the Cougars (2-2). Natali Hochstein’s 16 points led four players in double figures for the Storm (1-3). Akiva Borgen added 15, Yosef Kahn had 12 and Yehuda Taub scored 11.

TIER 2

1st Place - HAFTR 44 Ohr HaTorah 38

Asher Freundlich scored 17 points and Nate Mayer added 12 for the Hawks (4-3). Toby Levy had 13 points for the Thunder (2-2).

3rd Place - Jewish Day School 53 JEC 42

Theo Pearlman scored 16 points and Jesse Fisher added 11 to lead the Lions (3-2). Binyamin Dombeck, JJ Leonorovitz and Ashi Strauss each scored 8 points for the Thunder (3-5).

TIER 3

1st Place - Katz YHS 69 H.A. Montreal 59

Nir Ovaknin paced the Storm (3-2) with 35 points. Simon Alloul led the Heat (2-3) with 33.

3rd Place - Posnack Jewish Day 54 Maimonides 52

Guy Shlomi led the Rams (3-3) with 19 points, Austin Ben-Shmuel added 17 and Mark Mann had 10. Amiel Jotkowitz scored 17 points and Itai Winograd added 10 for the M-Cats (1-3).

5th Place - Fasman Cooper 68 Cooper Memphis 43

The Yeshiva (2-2) was led by Srulie Lebedinsky with 19 points, David Bar Natan with 12 and Elisha Neikrug with 10. Jack Kampf had 13 for the Macs (4-4) and Eli Weisfogel added 10.

7th Place - Yeshiva Greater Washington 67 Rochelle Zell 19

The Knights (1-3) got in the win column behind 23 points from Yaakov Radner and 20 from Akiva Ravin.

Gabe Moshayev led the Ravens with 17 points.

Kushner 50 Waterbury 42

Yoni Finkelstein scored 16 points and Asher Nochom added 14 to lead the Cobras (2-0). Wolfpack now 1-2.

GIRLS

SKA 73 Kushner 26

Lea Steinmetz led the Sonics (2-0) with 16 points. Cobras are now 0-4.

HAFTR 47 Hillel 44

Olivia Weinrib scored 13 points, Maya Spira added 12 and Sari Levi had 11 for the Hawks (2-1). Heat now 0-2.

North Shore H.A. 40 Hillel 33

Aryeh Sanandaji led the Lions (8-1) with 10 points. Bruce Epstein had 9 points for the Heat (3-3).

DRS 50 Magen David 46

Gaby Spodek led the Wildcats (4-1) with 12 points. Sammy Chira had 11 points for the Warriors (5-2) and Jack Dweck added 10.

Tier 1 Consolation

Milken 71 TABC 28

Grayson Coleman led the Wildcats (2-1) with 15 points, Daniel Werner added 13 and Ashton Javaheri had 12.

Valley Torah 74 Berman H.A. 56

Meir Dan and Ben Mahgerefteh each scored 20 points, Dvir Assayah Raham added 12 and Joey Victor had 10 to lead the Wolfpack (2-1). Alex August led the Cougars (1-2) with 21 points and Ezra Sushner added 15.

Ohr HaTorah 62 JEC 57

Toby Levy led the Florida Thunder (2-1) with 19 points, Chanoch Adelman added 12 and Yaakov Perez had 10. Aaron Rozehzadeh had 22 points for the Jersey Thunder (3-3) and Michael Schnur added 12.

HAFTR 46 Jewish Day School 43

The Hawks (3-3) nearly let a 21-point lead evaporate. They were led by Asher Freundlich’s 17 points. Cyrus Blumenthal had 12 for the Lions (2-2) and Dylan Shank added 10.

Tier 3 Semifinals

Katz YHS 62 Maimonides 41

Abie Kaweblum paced the Storm (2-2) with 18 points, Nir Ovaknin added 15 and Judah Kogan scored 14. Amiel Jotkowitz had 13 points for the M-Cats (1-2).

H.A. Montreal 56 Posnack Jewish Day 35

Simon Alloul scored 26 points as the Heat (2-1) avenged an opening day loss. Guy Shlomi led the Rams (2-3) with 8 points.

Tier 3 Consolation

Cooper Memphis 67 Yeshiva Greater Washington 65 OT

Jack Kampf scored 26 points, Eli Weisfogel added 16 and Benny Freiden had 13 to lead the Macs (4-3). Akiva Ravin led the Knights (0-3) with 31 points and Tuvyah Jacobson scored 14.

Fasman Yeshiva 45 Rochelle Zell 42

Akiva Isenberg and Chaim Zahtz each scored 12 points for The Yeshiva (1-2). Ronen Ousley had 14 for the Tigers (0-4).

GIRLS

Championship

SAR 52 Frisch 49

Alex Magence’s 3-pointer from the wing as time expired won it for the Sting (6-0) and denied the Cougars (6-1) a second straight title. Magence led SAR with 16 points and Liv Solomon added 10. Zoey Levy had 21 points for Frisch and Gabrielle Hoffer scored 13.

BOYS

Semifinals

Frisch 47 Shalhevet 44 OT

Isaac Stepner led the Cougars (5-0) with 28 points. Sam Jacobson had 22 points for the Firehawks (3-1).

Flatbush 53 SAR 51

Elie Mouhadeb hit the game winner for the second straight game, this time with a driving scoop layup at the buzzer. Aaron Romano led the Falcons (8-2) with 17 points and Sam Jemal had 12. Ari Halpert scored 26 points for the Sting (6-2) and Avery Simon added 12. These two teams have already played four times this season. Each has won two games, although Flatbush has won when it counted, in the semifinals of the Magen David tournament and now at Glouberman.

Championship

Flatbush 53 Frisch 48

The Falcons (9-2) didn’t need any last-second magic but were still clutch down the stretch, scoring the game’s final 8 points and holding the Cougars (5-1) scoreless the last 3:15. Sam Jemal paced Flatbush with 15 points and Aaron Romano added 12. Isaac Stepner scored 16 points to lead Frisch.
