GIRLS

Championship

SAR 52 Frisch 49

Alex Magence’s 3-pointer from the wing as time expired won it for the Sting (6-0) and denied the Cougars (6-1) a second straight title. Magence led SAR with 16 points and Liv Solomon added 10. Zoey Levy had 21 points for Frisch and Gabrielle Hoffer scored 13.

BOYS

Semifinals

Frisch 47 Shalhevet 44 OT

Isaac Stepner led the Cougars (5-0) with 28 points. Sam Jacobson had 22 points for the Firehawks (3-1).

Flatbush 53 SAR 51

Elie Mouhadeb hit the game winner for the second straight game, this time with a driving scoop layup at the buzzer. Aaron Romano led the Falcons (8-2) with 17 points and Sam Jemal had 12. Ari Halpert scored 26 points for the Sting (6-2) and Avery Simon added 12. These two teams have already played four times this season. Each has won two games, although Flatbush has won when it counted, in the semifinals of the Magen David tournament and now at Glouberman.

The Falcons (9-2) didn’t need any last-second magic but were still clutch down the stretch, scoring the game’s final 8 points and holding the Cougars (5-1) scoreless the last 3:15. Sam Jemal paced Flatbush with 15 points and Aaron Romano added 12. Isaac Stepner scored 16 points to lead Frisch.

Liv Solomon scored 18 points and Ava Cohen added 14 and the Sting (4-0) exploded in the 3rd quarter after being down by 2 at the half.

#3 Shalhevet 68 #6 North Shore H.A. 64

Olivia Kboudi scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures for the Firehawks (3-0). Marielle Bitran added 15 points, Ellah Zackary had 13 and Gabriella Ackermann scored 11. Dillan Haghighat scored 33 points for the Lions (1-2).

#4 YULA 43 #5 Katz YHS 38

Shira Abramson led the Panthers (2-2) with 22 points. Stephanie Reinhard had 12 points for the Storm (1-2).

Semifinals

SAR 70 Shalhevet 57

Ava Cohen scored 23 points, Nava Bousbib added 20 and Liv Solomon had 16 for the Sting (5-0). Marielle Bitran hit 11 three-pointers en route to 35 points for the Firehawks (3-1) and Gabriella Ackermann added 12.

Sam Jacobson led the Firehawks (3-0) with 17 points and Benjamin Dweck added 11. Noah Seplowitz had 8 points for the Lions (0-3).

Jesse Reinhart (3-0) led the Cougars with 21 points, Isaac Stepner added 17 and Noam Grossman scored 10. Sam Noah paced the Panthers (0-3) with 14 points.

Flatbush 36 Ramaz 35

Elie Mouhadeb hit the game-winning jumper with under 2 seconds left for the Falcons (7-2). Mouhadeb led Flatbush with 12 points and Aaron Romano added 11. Asaf Seinfeld led the Rams (3-4) with 14 points and Noah Hiltzik scored 10.

Toby Levy scored 26 points to lead the Thunder (1-1). Benny Freiden led the Macs (3-2) with 17 points and Jack Kampf added 12.

Cyrus Blumenthal led the Lions (2-1) with 12 points.

JEC 64 Rochelle Zell 30

Binyamin Dombeck scored 13 points and Dovey Schreiber added 11 for the Thunder (3-3). Ronen Ousley led the Tigers (0-2) with 12 points.

HAFTR 59 Katz YHS 55

Nate Mayer’s 17 points led four players in double figures for the Hawks (2-3), who almost let the game slip away after leading by 22 points. Daniel Naumberg added 12 points, Asher Freundlich had 11 and Jojo Kaplan scored 10. Nir Ovaknin paced the Storm (0-2) with 26 points and Ilan Attias added 10.

Charlie Sassoon’s 15 points led four players in double figures for the Lions (7-1). Aryeh Sanandaji added 14 points, Benji Levian had 13 and Andrew Kohanim scored 11. Grayson Coleman led the Wildcats (1-1) with 15 points and Nadav Abergel and Ashton Javaheri added 11 each.

The Warriors (5-1) used a 15-2 run in the 3rd quarter to take control. Michael Alkthefati had 16 points and Sammy Chira added 13. Alex August had 24 points for the Cougars (1-1).

DRS 59 Valley Torah 45

Gaby Spodek scored 16 points to lead a balanced attack for the Wildcats (3-1). Yitz Bennett and Shoham Gabay added 14 points each and Michael Solomon had 10. Meir Dan led the Wolfpack (1-1) with 16 points Dvir Assayag Raham added 15 and Joey Victor scored 10.

Abe Franco had 19 points, Bruce Epstein added 13 and Abe Tobias scored 12 to lead the Heat (3-2). Akiva Borgen led the Storm (1-1) with 20 points, Yonatan Faber added 18 and Yosef Kahn scored 10.

Simon Alloul led the Heat (1-1) with 32 points and Benjamin Laredo added 11. For the Macs (3-3), Jack Kampf had 19 points.

Posnack Jewish Day 55 Yeshiva Greater Washington 43

The Rams (2-2) were led by Guy Shlomi (18 points), Mark Mann (13) and Mathew Furer (10). Akiva Ravin had 23 points for the Knights (0-2).

Maimonides 65 Rochelle Zell 46

Amiel Jotkowitz led four players in double figures for the M-Cats (1-1) with 21 points. Danny Missaghi added 12 and Sam Marcus and Itai Winograd had 10 each. Nossen Lifchitz paced the Tigers (0-3) with 18 points and Ronen Ousley had 14.

Katz YHS 72 Fasman Yeshiva 67

Jordan Kogan scored 26 points and Ilan Attias and Nir Ovaknin added 18 each as the Storm (1-2) held of The Yeshiva (0-2) who were led by Chaim Zahtz (24 points), Sammy Lebovics (19) and Srulie Lebedinsky (11).

Aaron Rozehzadeh’s 22 points led four players in double figures for the Thunder (2-2). Izzy Kay added 13 points, Yoni Hill had 11 and Eli Krause scored 10. Akiva Ravin led the Knights (0-1) with 27 points and Yaakov Radner had 23.

The Lions (1-0) rallied from 10 points down in the 3rd quarter. Dylan Shank led JDS with 13 points, Micah Goodrich scored 11 and Cyrus Blumenthal had 10. Amiel Jotkowitz and Itai Winograd each scored 10 for the M-Cats (0-1).

#18 Cooper Memphis 47 #15 Fasman Yeshiva 45

Benny Freiden’s floater in the lane with :04 left won it for the host Macs (3-1). Eli Weisfogel led Cooper with 14 points and Freiden added 12. Chaim Zahtz paced The Yeshiva (0-1) with 20 points and Srulie Lebedinsky added 19.

Aden Ben-Shmuel scored 15 points and Mathew Furer added 14 for the Rams (1-0). Simon Alloul led the Heat with 15 points and Daniel Levy scored 11.

The Wildcats dominated from the outset, led by Grayson Coleman with 15 points, Ethan Frank with 12 and Dinn Duvdevani with 10.

Alex August had 34 points for the Cougars (1-0), Gabey Margulies added 15 and Judah Singer had 11. For the Macs (3-1), Jonah Siegel scored 20 points, Eli Weisfogel added 15 and Jack Kampf had 10.

Yitz Bennett led the Wildcats (2-1) with 36 points, Gabe Spodek added 21 and Elisha Tsaidi had 11. For the Lions (1-1), Cyrus Blumenthal scored 31 points and Dylan Shank had 14.

Maurice Chehebar scored 15 points, Abe Tobias added 14 and Bruce Epstein had 10 as the Heat (2-2) rallied from a double digit first half deficit. Michael Schnur led the Thunder (2-3) with 19 points and Aaron Rozehzadeh added 12.

Yonatan Faber scored 14 points and Akiva Borgen added 12 to lead the Storm (1-0). Ronan Ousley had 18 points and Nosson Lifchitz 13 or the Tigers (0-1).

Solly Hara hit two free throws with :04.1 left to give the Warriors (4-1) the win. Hara led Magen David with 13 points and Solly Movazeb added 11. Toby Levy led the Thunder (0-1) with 12 points and Yaacov Perez scored 10.
