Ohr HaTorah 78 Jewish Academy 18

Toby Levy scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Thunder (3-1).

MIDWEST

Fasman Yeshiva 67 Ellison 65 OT

#21 The Yeshiva (3-3) scored the game’s first 11 points, erased a 5-point deficit in the 4th with a 9-0 run but the Lions could have won it on a 3-pointer at the buzzer in regulation. Back to back 3-pointers by Gav Castriota and Adir Amster gave The Yeshiva a 4-point cushion in the extra session but they needed a pair of Amster free throws with :26 left and more Lions misses in the closing seconds to secure the win. Amster finished with 31 points, Castriota had 13 and Ezra Schwartz added 10.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Flatbush 61 Ramaz 52 OT

The #23 Falcons (6-3; 10-9) won their third straight game despite squandering a 6-point lead in the final 1:40 of regulation. The #18 Rams are now 10-8, 3-3 in the league.

MTA 63 Kushner 34

Jake Abenaim scored 15 points to lead four players in double figures as the #14 Lions (7-1; 14-4) won their fourth straight game. Josh Treuhaft added 14 points, Gavi Engel had 13 and Ethan Vaysman scored 10. The Cobras are 2-9.

JEC 53 Ohr Yisroel 44

The Thunder (3-6; 5-10) erased a 10-point 3rd quarter deficit with a 14-0 run and later scored the game’s final 9 points to sweep the season series with the Flames (1-7). Ezra Stern led Ohr Yisroel with 23 points and Yirmi Gross added 16.

The Rams (6-6; 8-10) keep their playoff hopes alive heading into a critical rematch with HANC Tuesday night. The Falcons are now 9-8, 5-4 in the league.

Liv Solomon scored 26 points, Ava Cohen added 14 and Nava Bousbib had 12 to lead the Sting (8-0; 12-1) to their seventh straight win.

Alex August scored 29 points to lead four players in double figures as the #6 Cougars (12-2) rolled to their fifth straight win. Itai Rozmaryn and Ezra Sushner added 14 each and Noey Troy had 11. Adam Arfa led the Warriors (3-10) with 14 points and Alex Kades scored 11.

The Cougars snapped the Kings (4-2) 4-game win streak snapped.

Donna Klein Jewish Academy 69 Katz YHS 53

Joey Siemens and Josh Matheson each scored 18 points for the Eagles (4-3), Jason Lewin added 14 and Michael Bettan had 10. The #7 Storm (8-4) struggled from deep, shooting just 9 for 41 from behind the arc. Haim Elmakies led Katz with 14 points and Jake Davidson added 10.

Jewish Culture 86 H.A. Miami 73

The #13 Lions (16-6) won their sixth straight game behind 30 points from Johnny Hazan and 22 from Jojo Alfassy.

The #17 Aces (4-0) used a 14-1 run starting late in the 3rd quarter to take an 8-pt lead but then had to weather seven straight points by Nitai Gorlin before getting a steal under the basket with :01 left. The #11 Tigers (6-3) dropped their second straight game.

WEST

Faith 52 Yavneh Dallas 45

The Bulldogs (8-7) had their 4-game win streak when Faith used a 10-1 run to overcome a 3-point deficit midway through the 4th quarter.

Northwest Yeshiva HS 77 Cedar Park Christian 49

Joe Benoliel scored 27 points and Evan Kaufthal added 25 as the Lions (6-1) stretched their win streak to four games.

CALIFORNIA

Valley Torah 73 Southern California Yeshiva 42

Nehoray Edri led the #21 Wolfpack (8-4) with 28 points. The Hawks are now 2-3.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

DRS 73 Waterbury Yeshiva 41

Tzvi Tsaidi had 17 points to lead four players in double figures for the #4 Wildcats (9-1; 16-3). Joe Aaron added 13 points and Gabey Spodek and Shoham Gabay had 10 each. The Wolfpack are now 2-7.

In the JHA game of the year so far, Haim Elmakies led the #7 Storm (8-3) with 23 points, including the clinching 3-pointer with a minute left. The Storm battled back from 4 points down in the final :40 of regulation including a Harry Munter layup with :04 to send the game into overtime. Neither team led by more than three points in extra time until the final minute of the the game. Jonathan Rhein led the #8 Rams (7-4) with 36 points and Gideon Greenberg added 12.

The Lions (5-1) won their third straight game, getting 20 points from Joe Benoliel and 14 from Leon Varon.
