The Lions (8-10) won in the opening round of the SeaTac tournament to clinch a berth in the district playoffs. Evan Kaufthal (30 points) and Sam Chernicoff (25) each had career highs and Joe Benoliel added 10 points.

Aiden Bitran scored 20 points, Sam Jacobson added 15 and Jacob Killberg had 12 as the #4 Firehawks (23-10) won the Mulhulland League title.

Pilibos 68 Milken 60

The #5 Wildcats are now 20-9.

Tarbut vTorah 77 Newport Christian 44

The Lions (12-8) won the play-in game for the Academy League’s final automatic bid to the sectional playoffs. Jake Coblentz-Brown led Tarbut with 25 points, Yonah Light had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Ari Varon scored 15 points.

Southern California Yeshiva vs Bonsall

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SAR 55 Frisch 43

The Sting (7-7, 8-12) got a much needed boost in their playoff chances and avenged a loss earlier in the season. They will get in if either Ohr Yisroel (7-6) or JEC (6-6) lose a game. The #13 Cougars (10-4; 12-6) lost any hope of an opening round bye and finished 3rd in the West. Jonathan Itzhaki led SAR with 16 points and Jake Glick had 11. Ezra Berkowitz scored 18 points for Frisch.

North Shore H.A. 47 DRS 42

The #16 Lions (6-7; 13-16) and #17 Wildcats (7-6; 13-9) will play in the regular season finale with 4th place in the East on the line.

YDE 64 HANC 58

The Thunder (5-9) kept their slim playoff hopes alive but need Waterbury (4-8) to lose their last two games. Hurricanes dropped to 4-17, 2-11 in the league.

The win for the Lions (11-8) sets up a play-in game vs Newport Christian for the Academy League’s final automatic bid to the sectionals. Yonah Light led Tarbut w 21 points, 12 rebounds, Ari Varon scored 16 points, Jake Coblentz-Brown had 13 and Isaac Joelson 10.

The #1 Warriors (12-1; 31-2) extended their win streak to 17 games and clinched 1st in the East. Mark Sardar led the way with 13 points and Joshua Chabbott added 12. Ben Abizadeh scored 13 points for the #16 Lions (5-7; 12-16) and Jordan Zarka had 11.

TABC 50 Ramaz 48

The #12 Storm (11-2; 13-4) went into the RamDome, got their 11th straight win and clinched at least a tie for 1st in the West. Ayden Gurin led TABC with 17 points and Eyal Kinderlehrer added 16. Nate Sugar hit five treys for 15 points, Eden Bracha added 14 and Milan Kushner scored 12 for the #8 Rams (10-3; 22-11).

Flatbush 44 HAFTR 41

#10 Falcons (9-3; 9-7) finished tied for first in the East but will have the #2 seed in the playoffs. Hawks end the regular season at 4-8 in the league, 8-9 overall.

North Shore H.A. 81 HANC 39

Dillan Haghighat scored a JHA season-high 44 points and Shirel Kashimallak had 11 points, 10 rebounds for the #13 Lions (8-4; 9-7). The Hurricanes end the season 6-11, 3-9 in the league.
