Berman H.A. 52 Spencerville Adventist 49

Meira Falk led the Cougars (2-1) with 16 points, including the game-winning shot with half a minute left and the clinching free throws in the final seconds. Toby Melamed and Adi Topolosky each added 10 points. The Cougars trailed by nine in the first half before rallying to take a 1-point halftime lead and the teams stayed within a few points of each other the entire second half.

Jewish Day School 51 Washington Christian 28

Shani Schwartz led the Lions (2-0) with 20 points.

NORTHEAST

Stony Brook 61 Schechter-L.I. 26

Rachel Sedaghat led the Lions (0-3) with 21 points.

SOUTHEAST

H.A. Miami 53 Westminster Christian 45

Eliana Wolfson scored 21 points and Orelle Elharar added 16 as the Warriors (6-3) won their fifth straight game.

The Panthers (8-4) had their 7-game win streak snapped in preliminary play at the Milken Classic.

Milken 70 Viewpoint 58

The Wildcats (5-1) won in the opening prelim game at the Milken Classic.

Ariella Sheppard scored 14 points but the Rams dropped their season opener.

Yakov Meister had 25 and Yoni Bakaev scored 13 for the Cyclones (3-4).

Asher Kahlon led the Kings (1-1) with 23 points and 12 rebounds, Daniel Benjamini added 13 points and Zeke Levitt had 13.

Nate Jacobs scored 38 points before fouling out and the Mayhem (1-1) could not hold on to a 17-point early 4th quarter lead.

Rafi Miller scored 25 points, Jonathan Kluger added 14 and Matan Chen had 10 as the Stars (1-3) got in the win column.

Lutheran South 75 Emery Weiner 60

Matthew Mintz scored 29 points and Harper Scheinman added 25 but it wasn’t enough for the Jaguars (7-1) to stay unbeaten.

Bear Creek 74 Northwest Yeshiva HS 57

On the road against a school two classifications above, the Lions overcame a 20-4 first quarter deficit to take a 25-24 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.  NYHS kept it tight until midway through the 3rd quarter, when Bear Creek went on a 19-5 run to put away the game. Sam Weichbrodt led the Lions with 19 points and Sam Chernicoff added 12.

Ari Veron scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures for the Lions (4-1). Jacob Coblentz-Brown added 13 points and Yonah Light and Eedo Gabbai each had 10.

Jaguars fall to 6-2.

Johnny Wang led the Lions (2-3) with 14 points and Jack Silberstein had 11..

Bobby Sigoura had 13 points to lead the Rams (7-1; 13-4) to their fifth straight win. Jonathan Itzhaki and Yishama Orlow each scored 9 points for the Sting (4-3; 9-6).

Reuven Rozezadeh led the Flames (3-3; 3-5) with 23 points and JJ Waldman added 10. Cobras now 1-6.

Flatbush 59 The Patrick School 37

Beni Keda had a triple double, 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks, to lead the Falcons (16-1) in this non-league game. Jacob Haddad, Albert Khaski and Joe Shamah each added 10 points.

Inbar Vicus scored 17 points, Carmel Baratz added 16 and Kate Wiener had 10 for the Tigers (20-1), who swept all six games of the tournament and won the title for the second straight year. Lilly Yalovsky had 19 points for the Bulldogs (6-2) and Dalia Lampert added 10.

Izzy Nadtrich had 19 points to lead four players in double figures for the Cougars (7-0; 11-1), who won their fifth straight game. Samantha Pruzansky and Zoey Levy each added 12 points and Atara Forman scored 11. Daphna Steinmetz led the Sonics (4-2) with 29 points and Sari Gross added 11.

Liv Solomon scored 26 points and Clara Rosen and Sydney Fishkin added 15 each to lead the Sting (4-1; 5-3). The Heat fall to 0-6.

The Cougars (6-1; 8-3) led virtually wire-to-wire, relying on their big men to hand the Warriors (6-1; 14-2) their first league loss. Noah Fischman had 20 points and Ezra Berkowitz added 13 for Frisch. Mark Sardar and Joshua Chabbot each had 11 for Magen David and Moses Smeke added 10..

Ayal Kinderlehrer scored 19 points and Ayden Gurin added 16 to lead the Storm (4-2; 6-4) to their third straight win. Yirmi Gross had 17 points and Reuven Rozehzadeh added 12 for the Flames (2-3; 2-5).

Eli Braha scored 24 points and Marty Cohen had 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Heat (1-4; 3-9) got their first league win. Doniel Baron scored 14 points for the Lions (0-6; 1-9).

The host Warriors (6-3) won their first tournament title since 2010 and handed the Bulldogs (6-2) their first loss of the tournament. Michael Cohen, championship game MVP, led Beth Tfiloh with 22 points and Jake Schloss added 11.

Harry Kitey led the Rams (1-5) with 15 points.

MIDWEST

Rochelle Zell 65 Fasman Yeshiva 37

Jake Miller had 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and Ophir Zetouni and Jesse Shapira each scored 14 points to lead the Tigers (6-3). The Yeshiva is now 2-3.

WEST

Summit Classical 71 Northwest Yeshiva HS 43

Steve Bunin’s return to the Lions’ sidelines after many years came up short but he was appreciative of the team’s effort - and even more of the opposing coach’s offer that "We stand with Israel. We stand with you. We're praying for you every day." Joe Benoliel led the Lions with 13 points.

Beni Keda and Ronnie Chaaya each scored 12 points and Isaac Cooper and Joe Shammah added 10 each as the Falcons (7-0; 15-1) extended their win streak to 11 games. The Wildcats fall to 5-4, 2-3 in the league.

HAFTR 60 Waterbury Yeshiva 40

The Hawks (5-1; 7-5) trailed by eight at halftime but outscored the Wolfpack (2-4; 3-6) 25-3 in the 3rd quarter to take control. Kevin Levy led HAFTR with 18 points, Sam Siri added 13 and Peter Drukker had 11.

JEC 34 Kushner 23

Yechiel Kadosh had 14 points, 15 rebounds and 8 blocks to lead the Thunder (2-3; 5-7). The Cobras drop to 1-5.
