The Lions (6-13) were within six points midway through the 3rd but managed to score just four more points as they lost in the Section 1 Class C semifinals.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SKA 46 Flatbush 40 OT

Simona Goldberg had 17 points and Daphna Steinmetz added 16 as the #2 Sonics (14-0) stayed unbeaten to reach the championship game. The #11 Falcons (13-6) were led by Camielle Mosseri with 12 points and Merle Kassab and Tunie Hanan each with 10.

The #25 Red Heifers (12-5) had their 7-game win streak snapped in the NESPAC Class C quarterfinals. Eli Leder led Gann with 19 points, Benjy Schwartz added 13 and Ben Spira had 12.

Tuckahoe 60 Leffell 31

The Lions (8-13) fell behind 24-5 in the first quarter and never recovered as they lost to the top seed in the Section 1 Class C semifinals. Russell Wechsler led Leffell with 8 points.

CANADA

John Rennie 70 H.A. Montreal 56

Gabe Bodokh scored 25 points but the Heat (13-3) fell in the GMAA Division 3 semifinals.

The M-Cats fell in the opening round of the MIAA Division 4 playoffs.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Frisch 48 HAFTR 31

The #4 Cougars (17-2) fell behind by eight points in the 1st quarter but held the #13 Hawks (17-10) scoreless in the second and dominated after halftime en route to their eighth straight win and a trip to the championship game.

Dani Carter scored 24 points, Jon Rosen had 14 and Natanel Zigdon added 10 to lead the #22 Cyclones (18-9).

NORTHEAST

Maimonides 65 Cohasset 57

The #11 M-Cats (16-4) won in the opening round of the MIAA Division 4 playoffs. Oren Spira led Maimo with 19 points, Raanan Gewurz added 12 and Avi Schwartz had 10, all in the 1st quarter.

CANADA

Crawford 72 Or Chaim Toronto 69

The Knights (6-4) squandered a 13-point lead and fell in the TDCAA Senior A champiosnhip game. Levi Kalvari scored 24 points, Maurice Nsiri added 18 and Cody Fox had 13.

CALIFORNIA

Ramona 75 Tarbut vTorah 38

Yonah Light had 16 points and 12 rebounds but the 14th seeded Lions fell to the #3 seed in the opening round of the CIF Division 4 SoCal regionals.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

SAR 48 DRS 41

It wasn’t as dominant as the first time they played this year but the #5 Sting (23-4) turned back the #13 Wildcats (24-7) to reach the semifinals, where they will play North Shore H.A. Stephen Olshin led DRS with 10 points.

Frisch 59 Flatbush 44

The #4 Cougars (17-7) jumped out to a 15-point 1st quarter lead, saw the #17 Falcons (11-7) cut it to two at the half and then pulled away late to set up a semifinal matchup with Magen David. Alex Zakheim led Frisch with 25 points and Isaac Schiffman added 10. For Flatbush, Beni Keda had 17 points and Sam Jemal scored 10.
