National Top 25

We’re back!

The Jewish Hoops America National Top 25 returns after 20 months, with TABC edging out its New Jersey neighbor Frisch for the #1 spot.

Both are off to outstanding starts this year, with each team’s lone loss coming to the other . The Storm topped the Cougars in the Glouberman Tournament semifinals en route to the tourney title. Frisch returned the favor two weeks ago in an overtime game in Paramus.

We opted not to start the rankings preseason because with most teams off last year assessing how they would stack up proved particularly difficult. But we didn’t want to wait until everyone played because that would take us deep into December. Rest assured there will be plenty of fluctuation as the season progresses

For the time being, we are only ranking the boys teams. While we have stepped up coverage of girls hoops this year, we aren’t quite ready to expand that to a Top 25. Hopefully we will in some form by the end of the season.
