Spencer Rubinstein scored 17 points, Yoni Vilinsky added 12 and Ryan Leibowitz had 10 to lead the  Rams (1-1 league; 1-2 overall). Eitan Pfeiffer had a game-high 27 points for the Lions (0-2) and Eitan Warburg added 13.

Michael Natkin's 24 points led three players in double figures as the Warriors (1-0; 4-0) overcame a sluggish start to win their regular season opener. Albert Nsiri added 18 points and Ray Jajati scored 15. Gabe  Shamama scored 15 for the Hawks (1-1; 2-2) and Matthew Jedwab added 10.

Eddie Lincer and Jack Rosow each scored 18 points as the Falcons (1-1; 2-2) overcame 32 points by Jackie Haber and held off the Stars (1-1; 1-2).

HOME COOKIN': YESHIVA LEAGUE RESULTS 10/25/18

All five home teams won their Yeshiva League games on Thursday night.

Jake Borher’s 18 points led four players in double figures as the Heat (1-0 league; 2-1 overall) shook off a sluggish start. Jesse Abed and Ricky Sutton each scored 13 points and Noah Lindenbaum added 10. Gershi Liff scored a game-high 30 points for the Wolfpack (0-1), who led after the first quarter but couldn’t get closer than nine points in the fourth.

Gavriel Kahn scored 23 points and Ezra Sicklick added 10 to pace the Wildcats (1-0; 4-1)

Gabe Plotsker had 16 points and 26 rebounds, Nadav Twizer also had 16 points and Ethan Wiater added 11 as the Cobras (1-1; 1-2) topped the Rams. Spencer Rubinstein led Ramaz with 17 points and Aaron Shapira scored 11.

This one was never in doubt as the Cougars (2-0) opened up leads of 8-0 and 20-4. Max Mayerhoff  scored 19 points for Frisch and Max Zakheim added 11. Judah Oppenheimer paced the Sting (0-1) with 19 points.

Ethan Aaron scored 23 points and the Ravens (2-0; 4-1) held on when YDE missed a 3-pointer with seven seconds left. Benzy Schaffran added 13 points and Aaron Azose had 10.

Max Zakheim scored 21 points as the Cougars opened the season with a road win. Gabe Plotsker paced the Cobras (0-1 league; 0-2 overall) with 21 points and 14 rebounds and Nadav Twizer added 11 points.

Dovi Baratz scored 24 points and Matthew Jedwab added 22 as the Hawks (1-0; 2-1) withstood a fourth quarter rally by the Falcons (0-1; 1-2).

Benzy Schaffran scored 26 points and Ethan Aaron added 24 as the Ravens (1-0 league; 3-1 overall) rolled. Ari Kantorowitz led the Lions (0-1) with 13 points.

Yoni Drazin led the Heat (0-1) with 17 points and Binyamin Freundlich added 13.

Eddie Swed (29 points), Jackie Haber (21) and Shlomie Anbeh (20) combined for 70 points to lead the Stars (1-0; 1-1). For the Lions (0-1), Eitan Pfeiffer and Eitan Warburg scored 23 points each, Yoni Rothberg added 14 and Hudy Weiss had 13.

The Heat (0-2) stayed close until the final minute. Ethan Fallenbaum led HA with 20 points, Adam Shizgal added 16 and Binyamin Freundlich had 11.

WARRIORS REPEAT AS CHAMPS AT MAGEN DAVID TOURNAMENT

Albert Nsiri scored 20 points and the host Magen David Warriors blew open a close game in the second half to beat DRS and successfully defend their tournament title.

The Warriors (3-0) dominated the first quarter but led by only one midway through the second before a late flourish gave them a 21-16 halftime lead. They then held the Wildcats (3-1) to just 15 points in the second half.

Michael Natkin added 8 points for Magen David and Ray Jajati grabbed 12 rebounds. DRS’ Gavriel Kahn, who averaged just under 20 points per game during the tournament, had 14 points to lead his team in scoring for a fourth straight game.
