 The Heschel Heat defeated the previously undefeated HAFTR Hawks 51-30 in the Yeshiva League semifinals.
.A close game through three quarters, but HAFTR never could get over the hump. Exhausted and hurting from four days at the Sarachek Tournament, the Hawks could not convert on many inside opportunities and free throws. Heschel pulled away late with strong play from Kasman, Schlisser and Leichtung.
Heschel will face the winner of tonight's Ramaz-HANC semifinal matchup to take place at Magen David at 8:00pm.
